Company Internal Communication

Communication lies at the heart of success regardless of the domain. Whether we realize it or not, the way we communicate with our colleagues in various departments influences at large scale the results we get as company employees and the outcome the company achieves as an entity on the market. We are, at an internal level, our own colleagues’ clients.

We need to communicate in order to reach objectives. Whether we reach them or not is up to:

  • The way we approach our colleagues through words, gesture, mimics, intonation,
  • The way we think: “big” or “small”;
  • System belonging and common goal awareness;
  • Becoming aware and assuming personal contribution in achieving objectives at a departmental, as well as an inter-departmental level;
  • Our assumptions, omissions and generalizations of meaning
  • Internal negotiation success or failure;
  • Expectations vs current reality;
  • Checking if the message has been correctly sent over;
  • Mutual respect;
  • Conflict management.

Internal communication is the first and last step to make in order to ensure your business development and, not least, its financial performance.
